Tea and Tunes at Gore Place
Enjoy tea, cake, and tunes in the beautifully restored 1793 Carriage House at Gore Place. After tea, some of the regions finest musicians will perform. Performers listed below:
February 7 - Adrienne Howard (fiddle, hurdy-gurdy) and Linda Sheilds Swicker (guitar, banjo) will play traditional music from Québec along with some Irish, Appalachian, and French tunes.
February 21 - husband and wife duo Dale Munschy and Sylvia Berry play duets by Mozart on a replica of the kind of piano Mozart owned.
March 6 - The Hoot Owls are a trio of guitar, banjo and fiddle that play old-timey tunes along with some wonderful 3 part harmony
March 20 - Eden Forman (fiddle) and Lukas Poole (banjo, guitar) play the traditional music of Scotland, Ireland, and England, but really shine when they get to the Appalachian tunes!
Tea is self-serve. Seating is family-style at tables of up to 7. Advanced tickets strongly suggested. For groups of 4 or more, please use the member/kids ticket price option.
