Spring has sprung and we're thrilled that Johann Smit of Hidden Star Orchards (and last fall's heirloom apple tasting) is back to help us celebrate the coming of stone fruit season. With a bushel of Johann's cherries, Chef Andrew Pimlott is crafting a bacchanal feast. Over dinner, Johann will share stories of second generation farming, tales of transitioning from conventional to organic growing, and the hidden meaning behind the name Hidden Star (can you guess?). Wine included (we did say Bacchanal).
