Cindy Miller is from upstate New York and received her masters degree from the Eastman School of Music.

Her professional engagements have ranged from private gatherings, intimate clubs, performing arts centers, corporate events, stadium/concert performances and as guest soloist with symphony orchestras.

An eclectic performer, Cindy's acting and singing impressions and her ability to improvise and scat sing have delighted audiences of all ages from New York to Florida to Texas.

She has performed with jazz greats flutist Hubert Laws, guitarist Gene Bertoncini, Chuck Mangione, world famous vibraphonist Peter Appleyard, and has had numerous appearances with the Gap Mangione Big Band, Benny Goodman Tribute Band, Central New York Jazz Ensemble, and Michael Lasser, host of PBS radio's nationally syndicated show Fascinatin' Rhythm.

Other appearances include opening for Bobby Rydell, Julius LaRosa, Stars of the Lawrence Welk Show, comedians Rocky Laporte and Andre & Cirell, and as guest soloist with the Utica Symphony Orchestra and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.

Cindy performed for actress Meryl Streep when Ms. Streep received the George Eastman Award for Distinguished Contribution to the Art of Film. She also appeared at the New York State Fair and was guest soloist at the 2004 and 2006 International Marine Tattoo. New York City appearances include The Blue Note with Gap and Chuck Mangione, Brooklyn School of the Performing Arts, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Danny's Skylight Room.

Recordings include Love You Madly, her CD of jazz standards noted for its musicality, and I've Got The Music In Me highlighting her versatility with great songs, witty parodies and delightful characterizations of famous entertainers. Her signature song Land That We Love, which Cindy wrote, has been performed for General Tommy Franks, political commentators/authors Mary Maitlin and James Carville, Bill O'Reilly, the New York State Assembly, Institute for Homeland Security, Congressman Randy Kuhl, Vice President Dick Cheney and at many patriotic and community events.

Other accomplishments include composing a full range of songs from easy listening to pop and country. Her arrangements include those for small groups, big band charts and choral octavos. Cindy has made numerous radio appearances, industrial videos, commercials, demos, voice-overs, and cast recordings including Robert Collister's musical Vladimir, Robert Isgro's An American Christmas, a music education textbook series for GIA Publications, Gap Mangione's Big Band recordings Planet Gap, Stolen Moments and Family Holidays.

Cindy arranges her own material and comes ready with charts and/or tracks for all of her performances.
