SALVATION no.1 : STANATRON - LUKE RANDALL - LONG TREES- BOUDIN BARNDANCE @ Salvation Cafe, Newport, RI

STANATRON- (Stan, Kraig Jordan, Bob Kendall) : An interactive, multimedia musical journey through the past, future and the subconscious. Musician, videographer and sound engineer (Plan of a Boy Studios), Kraig Jordan and Singer/Songwriter/Producer, Bob Kendall to host "Stanatron", a projected film and live instrumental music event. Meticulously knit together bits of found film act as the inspiration for the creation of a live, electronic soundscape. ."In essence Stanatron is about the measure of time. A time in the past when things were simpler. A time in the future when things will be better. Time to change. Time to try again. A time to sit back, relax and transcend our day-to-day lives. A chamber of solace and wonder awaits you.

LUKE RANDALL is an artist who works primarily as a painter. Over the past ten
years his work with electronics and his affiliations with musicians has led him
into performance work. Randall will present some of his new material as well as
some of his classic antics as an old-school entertainer.

LONG TREES - Musicians Rafael Attias and Dan Wright debut their new band the Long Trees. Jeffrey Underhill on drums and rumor is that other stellar talent will be joining them as well

$10.00 Tickets includes a BEER and a free STANATRON CD - Doors @ 7pm -

Opening and Intermission music provided by Boudin Dan's Barndance WRIU Radio 90.3

This series is also part of the 1 of 52 Hunger Network and food donations will be accepted and be given to the Martin Luther King Community Center located `in Newport.
