Inside Hanna's Suitcase
Fumiko Ishioka, a teacher at Tokyoâs Holocaust Museum receives a suitcase from the Auschwitz Museum. Hana Bradyâs name is painted on the case. The teacher and her young students research Hanaâs story, discovering her brother George who survived and is living in Canada. This moving documentary is based on Karen Levineâs book, Hanaâs Suitcase, which was also the basis of a play performed at Washington University in 2008. This is a perfect film for the family. Introduction by Dan Reich, Curator & Director of Education, Holocaust Museum & Learning Center.
