SIXTEEN WOUNDED by Eliam Kraiem
SIXTEEN WOUNDED examines the human side of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by exploring the fateful collision of a lonely Jewish baker (Hans) and a passionate Palestinian (Mahmoud). An act of violence brings the two together and sets into motion an unlikely friendship. As the friendship deepens, the two struggle with identity and loyalty to their beliefs as well as each other. The play is a provocative and poignant discussion and exploration of the intricate roots of hatred, love and friendship.
