The Escondido Municipal Gallery is fortunate to bring designer and author Colette George to us from Oregon. In this workshop artist students will receive instruction on creating mixed media effects easily integrated into their own art process. This class is technique driven. A "make & take" project featuring the students own artwork will be created as they learn and create their own effects reference sample. If you prefer to experiment with color imagery transfer please bring color photo inkjet copies along with the B&W as well. Images need to be 5 by 7 or smaller.
Students will learn these techniques:
Packing tape Transfers, paper towel transfers, Edging & Rubs, Webbing, Texturizing Mediums (& joint compound), Gel Medium for use as glue & dimensional effects, Paint Speckling
