Bluestockings Presents: Sister Spit
Sunday, May 2nd @ 7PM Bluestockings Presents Sister Spit Next Generation 2010 Spring Fling at the Dixon Place $12 Advanced / $15 Door
The raucous Sister Spit is returning and queertastic brilliance is spilling out of the van and onto the stage at Dixon Place.
Don't miss this multimedia explosion of zinesters, fashion plates, slam poets, novelists, performance artists, poets and fancy scribblers.
Witness queer luminary Michelle Tea, trans-director Silas Howard, queer anti-racist Elisha Lim, pioneer performance poet Regie Cabico, trans-psychic memoirist Len Plass, queer zinester Nicole J. Georges, shape-shifting translady Annie Danger, tranny superstar Glenn Marla, and lezzy storyteller Laurie Weeks.
The doors and bar will open at 6PM. Seating is first-come, first served. Books and tour merchandise will be available.
Dixon Place is a lovely all ages queer theater - but one that also serves booze. It is located just a few blocks from Bluestockings at 161A Chrystie Street (just north of Delancy Street). Visit dixonplace.org to learn about their other fantastic events.
