KHSU 50th Anniv. Dinner and Auction
KHSU continues the celebration of its 50th year with a gala dinner and auction at the Arcata Community Center on May 22nd.
KHSU's special guest will be NPR Morning Edition host and "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me" announcer Carl Kassel. Carl will speak at the dinner and is expected to be on hand for the cocktail hour as well.
Proceeds from the auction will go to support KHSU's mission of providing listener supported public radio to Humboldt, Del Norte and Curry counties.
Abruzzi Catering presents a plated dinner (new york steak, blackened salmon or ratatouille stuffed-portobello), hors d'oeuvres and dessert.
Your ticket also enters you in the evening's auctions. The live auction will feature art, vacation packages, local getaways and unique experiences. The auction will be officiated by Humboldt auction royalty, Rex Bohn. A silent auction will have a variety of food, wine, travel, art, services and merchandise to bid on too.
Tickets are available online and at the North Coast Co-Op in Arcata and Eureka or at the KHSU business office. Tickets are limited and are expected to sell out.
