DEVELOPING CREATIVITY AND RESILIENCE THROUGH APPLIED IMPROVISATION training workshop
The techniques and philosophy of improvisation are evidence-based ways to generate more creative energy that is then available for solving problems, dealing with stressful situations, taking on difficult dynamics in relationships and working at the top of our intelligence. This workshop will feature:
Exercises and games that stimulate the "state of play" that focuses the mind and emotions and bypass the inner critic;
Experiences that promote the creative process in a group;
Experiences that tap individual creative energy and cultivate skills in collaboration;
Techniques for fostering the improviser's mind set for greater resilience to stress and creative problem-solving in daily life;
The creative "muscle" strengthened through these experiences are immediately transferable to real-life problems and struggles and the games and exercises can be easily and rapidly deployed to work in groups and classes for a variety of educational and clinical goals. Attend this group if you want to connect with your creative energy, learn useful skills that enhance learning and communication, and meet fun, smart people on a mission to make their own lives and the world more fun and interesting.
