Trauma leaves a trace. Toothbrush takes heed of residue. Feel piles of it, recorded in the body of the field. You have to use every receptor. There is no choice. There is only choice, always in germ. Take for example hammer. Pummel spirit back to its wood, but waste no moment contemplating absence. The patterns of abnormality cannot be stricken or washed away, no matter your egg whites. Follow hand. It adumbrates exclusively, unable to erase. No one has ever died. No one has ever been alone.

Saul/Meredith is a melancholic comedy about regret, revision, and codependence. When Saul, a newly-single botanist "for self-recovery" attempts to come to terms with a breakup by re-enacting it with his only companion, Succulent (a house plant), the two realize that people, words, and memories are not as easy to care for as plants.
