PLOP! Nights presents THE PUPPETRY OF DAN LUCE
Through masterful manipulation of hand-crafted marionettes, hybrid string puppets, shadows and projected imagery, Luce conjures a realm both alien and parallel to our own. His visually stunning, mechanically sophisticated puppets invoke a profound sensitivity as they traverse universal struggles and the beauty of existence.
PLOP! (Performance Laboratory for Objects and Puppets) is a new puppetry center dedicated to fostering experimental and innovative Puppet Theatre through public performances and puppet-making workshops.
PLOP! Nights is a monthly puppetry series for adults, presented on the third weekend of each month.
