WORDS FIRST: a solo performance showcase

WORDS FIRST is the premier solo performance event in San Francisco. The first Wednesday of every month, WORDS FIRST invites the finest solo artist, comics, and storytellers to the CounterPULSE stage. Solo performance is a unique brand of theater one person, one stage. All pieces are written and performed by the solo artists themselves!

An intensely personal and unexpectedly hilarious tale of a nurse gone wild trying to prevent cancer. Her amulet? Yoga & Pork Chops!

COLIN MAHAN ~ "Colin Mahan Does Things!"
The premier name in (and sole practitioner of) the avante-garde absurditiste de l'art phorme known as Performance Comedy returns with the doing of several things. Once you see Mr. Mahan vocalize, emphasize and ambulate whilst onstage, you'll elatedly turn to the nearest human and urgently exclaim: "Colin Mahan is a thing-doer!"
