CCT Presents "Anne Of Green Gables"
Clayton Community Theatre presents "Anne Of Green Gables," a play adapted by Peter DeLaurier from the novel by L. M. Montgomery.
Aging brother and sister, Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, send to an orphanage for a boy to help on the farm. To everyone's surprise, however, a mixup brings them romantic, hot-headed, and energetic 11-year-old Anne Shirley. Over the course of six years she wins their hearts and turns the stodgy, rural Canadian community into a bright world of "kindred spirits."
