Description: Healthy social emotional development in children is a crucial part of ensuring a positive social life, including success in school. In this workshop participants will review the social development aspect of social emotional development, discovering not only how to promote positive social development but also how to improve the interactions to prevent social depression. Recognizing the social and emotional development necessary to step into fatherhood.

About the Instructor: Mr. Ephraim received his Master degree in Rehabilitation at Seattle University, Seattle, Washington in 1990. He received his Bachelor degree in Sociology in 1976 at the University of California, Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Ephraim has worked in the fields of mental health and chemical dependency treatment since 1987. Mr. Ephraim began working with culturally and special populations in communities, schools, correction "step down" settings, drug and alcohol, domestic violence, and mental health treatment since 1987. He has also worked as a counselor/case manager/trainer/coach and director providing individual, family, and group counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and their families. Currently, he provides individual and family counseling to children, adolescents and adults; and is a registered/certified by the state of Washington as a Registered Counselor under RCW 18.19.060 and a Chemical Dependency Professional.
