Blues For Social Justice
Benefit dance for the Social Justice Committee of the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists Church (BFUU) For over 50 years BFUU has hosted many activities and informative programs that promote social justice.
Have some fun and enjoy good music while supporting worthwhile causes. So bring your family and friends, put on your dancing shoes and come ready to dance to swing and blues shuffles, and funky R&B beats from New Orleans, Memphis, Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Chicago and Texas. Music by Voodoo Junk, a group of veteran East Bay bluesmen, playing melodic and soulful songs set to danceable beats.
All proceeds will go to support the work of the BFUU Social Justice Committee, fostering worthy causes, locally, nationally and internationally.
$10 to $75 Space is limited. Advanced registration recommended. Walk ins only if space available.
