Celebrate the Arrival of Spring and the first two-day festival of the year!
Hop Scotch Spring Beer and Scotch Festival presented by Seattle Weekly announces the first festival of the New Year and a celebration of the arrival of spring. The 5th Annual Hop Scotch Spring Beer and Scotch Festival, benefiting Northwest Folklife, will take place Friday, March 23rd, from 5pm to 12am, and Saturday, March 24th, from 1pm to 12am, at the Jonas Jensen Studios in the heart of Fremont.
Hops Scotch previously named, Hops on Equinox, has undergone a name change with the success of last years Scotch Tasting Garden. The festival features the finest of spring seasonal microbrews, a one-of-a-kind scotch tasting experience, pub food tasting, music and more!
-Seasonal Beers: Hop Scotch will feature over 50 microbrews, including many spring seasonal beers.
-High-End Import Beers: The elite Red Carpet area, will feature many high-end import beers for your tasting pleasure.
-Scotch Tasting: For those beer drinkers ready for another craft malt beverage, the Scotch Tasting Garden, featuring six-1/4 oz. tastes, and the Scotch Tasting Seminars with a guided tasting experience with a Master of Scotch, featuring 14- _ oz. tastes, is the perfect event to welcome the spring season.
-Pub Culture: Numerous Seattle pubs will sample their signature dishes at the festival. Samples will be paired with suggested beers for an ultimate tasting experience.
-Music: The music stage will be the place to be as both live music and guest DJs celebrate the end of winter.
