Tinner Hill: Portraits in Black and White
"Tinner Hill: Portraits in Black and White" played to standing ovations when it premiered at ArtSpace in 2010. Through a series of monologues, vignettes and blues-inspired music, audiences encounter the inspiring stories of local African American heroes who overcame slavery, segregation and racism and forever changed the course of history.
On January 18th, Creative Cauldron brings back this original production, as a concert reading. For one day only there will be two readings completely free and open to the public in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the first rural branch of the NAACP!
