Come discover the creative ways artists use processes to incorporate digital technology and art.  Referencing the artworks in the exhibition New Territories: Laboratories for Design, Craft and Art in Latin America to illustrate ways of implementing and integrating technology and art within school curricula using programs such as Google Earth and QR Codes, teachers will source several examples including interpretations of physical, social and cultural environments.

Through the day, MAD's teaching artist and Teacher Advisory Committee will demonstrate platforms for engaging students through BYOD-Bring Your Own Device; audio recordings, and contemporary bar codes.  Teachers will explore collaborative practices of collecting and telling stories, and will convert narratives into traditional art forms including wearables and maps.
