Event
The Joy of Cheese Presents The Italian Job: Way Beyond Romano and Reggiano
Yes, there will be one fantastic Reggiano and a couple of excellent pecorinos on this tasting but there will be so much more. Italy is known for great firm cheeses, like Reggiano and we can't ignore that, but on Tuesday May 4th when we launch into the first of our three tastings dedicated to the wonders of Italian cheeses, we will start by exploring some of the other great hard cheeses from the Piedmont, Tuscany, Sardinia and other fine regions. We will pair these cheeses with seven exceptional beers chosen and described by Ray Deter. Where? Oh yeah, d.b.a Brooklyn, 113 North 7th St. at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 and our event will last approximately 75 minutes.
