SF Choral Artists 25 by 25 World Premieres, Oakland
Want to hear what 25 years of expanding the choral repertoire sounds like? The 25 members of the semi-professional chamber ensemble, San Francisco Choral Artists, present 25 of the best loved works that we have premiered, from composers who have enriched all our lives, including Bay Area luminaries Ted Allen, Herb Bielawa, Russell Burnham, Paul Crabtree, Robin Estrada, John Kelley, Kirke Mechem, Henry Mollicone, Jerry Mueller, Benjamin Taylor, and others, plus three past winners of our annual New Voices competition for composers under age 30. And introducing new works by Brian Holmes, Christopher Marshall, and this season's 3 New Voices winners. Artistic Director Magen Solomon.
