The Jazz Intervention Project featuring Brian Simpson
N-Motion Entertainment will be presenting the Jazz Intervention Project featuring the Cal U Jazz Band along with special guest artist, Brian Simpson on Sunday February 15, 2015 @ 6:00 pm at Latitude 360, 200 Quinn Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15275.
The Jazz Intervention Project is a musical competition that will occur every 3rd Sunday of the month, featuring high school bands. Judges will select at least three to four members from each band that display extraordinary musical talent. At the end of the Jazz Intervention Project in the spring of 2015, those selected musicians will collectively make up the 'all star' jazz band and have the opportunity to perform with a national recording artist. It just doesn't get any better than this!
February's Jazz Intervention Project will feature special guest artist Brian Simpson. Celebrated keyboardist, composer and studio musician, Brian Simpson has been the 'go-to' man for everyone from Janet Jackson and Teena Marie to George Duke, Stanley Clarke and Dave Koz, for whom he has had the distinction of being musical director for the past 15 years. The chart-topping musical chameleon who wrote the #1 R&B hit "The First Time" for Surface in the 1990s confesses, "Ultimately, my listeners inspire me to make my music."
Tickets - $25 adv/$30 at door (general admission seating)
