TownMusic: Onyx Plays Mozart
The dynamic piano trio, Onyx, breathed new life into the complete works for piano trio by Beethoven last season. This season, Cecilia Archuleta, violin, Meg Brennand, cello, and David White, piano, return with a season-long consideration of the complete works for piano trio and quartet by Mozart. The last concert opens with two sunny and melodic trios from the latter half of 1786 â the B-flat Major and G Major. Violist Mel Butler joins Onyx for a performance of the E-flat Major quartet.
