The On Key series was born out of a desire to celebrate the vast amount of local talent that exists all along the shores of Lake Ontario.
The series also highlights Melodia, a recent addition to the Burlington music scene. Located in Burlington's charming downtown, Melodia houses a three story elegant layout perfect for music, dancing and fine dining. Conveniently located across from the Burlington Performing Arts Centre and around the corner from City Hall, this venue offers the perfect blend of arts, entertainment and culture.
Hailee Rose
Singer/songwriter Hailee Rose began her professional performing career at a very young age. With her start in commercials and film, she quickly excelled to professional theatre. Before booking the leading role of Young Nala in Disney's 'The Lion King' (Princess of Wales Theatre), Hailee Rose had, by the age of 10, been entertaining for half of her life. And that was only the beginning. With musical influences of Jazz, R&B, Rock, Soul and Motown, Hailee covers it all. She has been featured at such festivals as: The CNE's Milk Festival, Oakville's Midnight Madness, The Oakville Jazz Festival, The Six Nations Festival, and most recently performed an opening set at Port Credit's very own South Side Shuffle.
Hailee has also performed at venues such as: The El Mocambo, This Ain't Hollywood, The Devil's Pulpit Country Club, Legends on the Queensway (formerly known as Brawley's and The Hollywood), The Black Swan, The Harp and Roc N' Docs. Hailee Rose has also travelled to New York City to write, record and promote original songs alongside some of Canada's top musicians. Hailee continues her musical journey writing, singing and performing in the Greater Toronto Area.
