7-25-10 Young Artists Chamber Ensemble & Orchestra Performances
Young Artists of the Icicle Creek Chamber Music Institute give debut performances of chamber works from all musical periods. Selected through a rigorous process, these young musicians are of age 16 and upwards, and come from high schools and music degree programs from across the United States and beyond. A blend of different nationalities, these musicians often meet for the first time in this program. They have just one week to intensively prepare each program of chamber music and chamber orchestra works at a high level, through studying with the artists of the International Chamber Music Festival. Join us in supporting these very talented professionals of tomorrow, and enjoy the freshness of new interpretations given by some of the nation's finest young musicians.
This concert features the young artists of the Icicle Creek Chamber Music Institute in ensemble and orchestral performances. Guest conductor is Jeffery Meyer.
