Black Rock loves live music. And that's why musicians love Black Rock.
So on New Year's Eve, some of funk's finest (who happen to have a connection to Black Rock) are going to come together with 2 venues passionately dedicated to building our local scene.

The sickest, funkiest, grooviest New Year's Eve party in CT just got so much crazier.

Davey Love had already booked local favorites The Pocket Hotties and NOLA-based Black Rock ex-pats Nardy Boy were already set to ring in 2015 by helping you shake that thang.

And through some kind of karma-driven miracle, we just managed to book the funky-ninjas from Kung Fu and the deepest roots of the funk family, Deep Banana Blackout for a killer 4 band lineup!

It's been years since either of these bands played a room as intimate as The Acoustic, and now it's finally got the stage, sound and light show to do them justice. And who knows if/when they'll ever play a room this cozy again?
