A Tribute to Ray Charles 7-18-10
Welcome to the Icicle Creek Music Center's 17th International Chamber Music Festival filled with exciting musical experiences and enjoyment of the breathtaking beauty of the Cascade mountains!
The Festival season celebrates the music of 20th and 21st century composers as well as the classical masters of the past. We invite you to explore the fascinating sounds of Bridge, Schoenfield, and Herbolsheimer and the romance of Rachmaninov, Chopin, and Schubert, as well as the soul and passion of jazz and the tango. The music you will hear this season performed live by world class international artists, spans more than four centuries of music from Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms to the living composers of today.
This concert will be in our lovely outdoor Meadow Stage area and be a tribute to Ray Charles by the Seattle Repetory Jazz Orchestra Nonet with vocalist Bernie Jacobs.
