Sparky & Rhonda Rucker's concert performance is a humor-filled journey through four hundred years of African-America cultural and folk history. With Sparky on the guitar & Rhonda adding sweet harmonies to the vocal plus playing on various instruments, including piano. banjo, harmonica and rhythmic bones, they have captivated audiences all over the country.They perform old-time blues, Appalachian music, slave songs, Civil War music, spirituals, work songs, ballads, Civil Rights music & Sparky's own compositions. Come and experience the stories & songs that are a base to what we call American music.
