Wednesday, Januray 28 - at Elmwood Playhouse Dessert & Wine at 7:30 Performance at 8:00 A BENEFIT FOR RIVERTOWN FILM
Rivertown Film and our Cultural Partner Elmwood Playhouse bring you an evening of outstanding theater; a special benefit performance of Edward Albee's THE GOAT, OR WHO IS SYLVIA.
A tragically comical play with a simple but deeply disturbing premise: a married man falls in love with a goat. Once his wife finds out this sordid truth, all hell breaks loose. Despite the comedic nature of this play, Albee questions social morality, current taboos, the perception of female identity, homosexuality, and the changing nature of social conventions like no other contemporary author can. Audience Advisory: contains adult subject matter that is not suitable for persons under 18 years of age.
Dessert at 7:30; the play begins at 8 PM.
SPECIAL DISCOUNT FOR NEW MEMBERSHIPS: Become a member and receive a free ticket, or buy your first dual membership and receive two free tickets.
