TICKET BUNDLE PACK FOR SEEKING SUSTAINABLE SYSTEMS, 2010 SEMINAR SERIES
SEEKING SUSTAINABLE SYSTEMS: A SERIES OF CONVERSATIONS WITH LOCAL EXPERTS************* How do we make progress towards a more sustainable society? Understanding how different aspects of our world are linked and the effects of changes in one system on another is an important first step. Our 7th annual seminar series will explore three critical topics in sustainability through cross-disciplinary conversations between Pacific Northwest experts. We will examine three important areas of our daily lives that have profound implications for the sustainability of our region and the world. The series begins with an exploration of our economic system and what a green economy really means. The second discussion looks at how our personal relationship with food and eating connects us with the world around us. In the last seminar, we will consider how improving the design of our products, buildings, communities and infrastructure can help lead to a more sustainable world. *************
