2010 DECIBEL INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC
PERFORMANCE, VISUAL ART & NEW MEDIA : SEATTLE : 9/22-26
Over the past seven years, Decibel has booked over 600 artists ranging from experimental, to leading-edge electronic dance music and visual art. With a focus on live performance, interactive multimedia art, state-of-the-art sound and technology-based education, Decibel has solidified itself as one of the premier electronic music festivals and promotional organizations in the world.
In 2009 the Decibel Festival celebrated it's 6th anniversary, pulling in over 15,000 people to Seattle. The 2009 edition featured over 130 artists performing at over a dozen venues over the 4 day festival. Here's a brief video recap of the 2009 program: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzwdQWX3jBw

This year we're pleased to announce four new venues, which include an outdoor weekend stage (all-ages with a beer garden), a prestigious recital hall (OPTICAL 1 & 2), a downtown afterhours warehouse and a centrally located loft space (dB Conference, will call and additional A/V programming). As in previous years, Decibel will outfit these venues with premium sound, lighting and visuals. Overall the 2010 Decibel Festival will be more centrally located than past years and offer a wider spectrum of venues in which to cultivate lasting experiences.
