Start the new year off in an environment that encourages your most fabulous self to shine! Join Kristen Minsky for seven ShowGal sundates, beginning on January 4th. This workshop is open to dancers, performers, movers, and shakers of all levels, and is formatted like a traditional dance class. Each week we will begin with a full body warmup including stretches and core conditioning. This will be followed by some exercises and short combinations across the floor. By week two, believe it or not, we will be in full swing and will begin setting choreography for our performance piece. January 25th will be a special extended rehearsal so that we can work on our costumes (crafting hair pieces) over a glass of bubbly!

Dance Dates: January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25 AND February 1st, 8th, and 15th
Performance: Friday, February 20th with a possible additional showcase on March 7th
**Each workshop requires a minimum of 6 participants to take place. Should registration be low, you will be notified of the workshop's cancellation by the Wednesday prior to the first workshop date. You will also be offered the opportunity to transfer registration to another workshop or classes at the Chifferobe Atelier.

What shoes should I wear?
A low, danceable heel is recommended. If you already own character shoes, please bring them. If you don't, please bring shoes that are comfortable to move in. We will talk about shoes along with costumes at the first class.
What should I wear to the workshop?
Please wear dance attire or comfortable clothing that you might wear to the gym or a yoga class.
What about the costume?
Costumes are not included in the cost of the workshop. Most often, workshop attendees have been asked to purchase their own costumes. This will be addressed at the first class.
