For the past eight years, Shawn Carter has been a mainstay in the Boston comedy scene, and is currently one of the fastest rising comics in New England. Whether it is headlining clubs, participating in festivals, or hosting one of the city's longest-running open mics, Shawn's versatility and command of a room are a rare find even in a city loaded with talent. His act is full of the kind of wisdom that can only be acquired through years of making mistakes (he has made a lot of mistakes.) He has an ability to put a shine on the mundane and dreary that can only come through years of experience painting cars (he has painted a lot of cars.) Shawn's unique perspective and ability to please any crowd he encounters have made him a quick favorite among audiences.
There will also be special guest comedians.
The show will run from 8-10pm at the Natasket Beach Resort.
