Newton Festival of the Arts: Claremont Trio
The Suzuki School of Newton's Artist Concert Series is pleased to present the critically acclaimed Claremont Trio. Each of the three musicians -- Emily Bruskin, violin; Julia Bruskin, cello; and Andrea Lam, piano -- is a virtuosic performer in her own right. Together they are consistently praised for their "aesthetic maturity, interpretive depth, and exuberance" (Palm Beach Daily News).
The Bruskin sisters, who grew up in Cambridge, have studied with Suzuki School of Newton cellist Nancy Hair and founder Gwendoline Thornblade. This concert's exciting program features selections from Haydn, Shostakovich, and Schubert. All proceeds from the event will support the James Thornblade Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Patrons have the option to purchase a Premium Seating Package, which includes seating in the front of the hall plus a special gift.
Online ticket prices reflect a $10 advance purchase discount.
