WinterWorks: The One-Acts
WinterWorks 2015: An 11-day theatre festival featuring 13 performances of 9 plays (solo shows and two-hander one-acts) guaranteed to take the chill out of any Polar Vortex with laughter, love, conflict and passion!
The One-Acts: A presentation of four one-act plays, each featuring two characters
"The Alabaster Virgin" by Kathryn Grant: A doctor and his patient discover that they both struggle with drug-addicted children. They find sanctuary -- and something more? -- in the alcove of the Alabaster Virgin.
"The Language Tape" by Bill Cosgriff: In the process of recording a tape to teach English to Spanish speakers, Carlos and Maria teach each other how to speak their minds, in hilarious fashion.
"For Now" by Julius Landau: An elderly couple plan for the future that remains - and find new ways to communicate and connect.
"The Marriage Proposal" by Dan Socolov: A couple waiting at City Hall to enter into a marriage of convenience discover unacknowledged feelings for each other.
7 Performances: January 10th, 15th, 16th at 7:30pm January 11th and 17th at 3pm January 11th and 18th at 7pm
