As we continue the Whitefire Theatre's dedication to developing original works, please join us for another round of WINTER SHORTS, an evening of original short plays from playwrights Bette Smith, Caroline Marshall, David Svengalis, Thomas J. Misuraca, Diana Woody & Henry Franco, Toni Perrotta & Liz Bliss, Ralph Odierna, Kelly Goodman, Tony Nunes, Sophia Lee & Chris Gehrt. Featuring 12 plays that range from: 2 well known superhero's dilemma of adding a wingman; the nightmare that can be the self -checkout at the grocery store; a cougar's fantasy night gone wrong for all the right reasons; best friends spilling their guts before jumping out of an airplane; the ultimate nightmare Hollywood audition; the biggest badass sports agent in town; a politically incorrect nature tour; 2 ultimate female football enthusiasts; a nice dinner party with an alleged wife killer; a couple of opposites attract; and that "meet up" that you will never have again. With 29 actors performing under a hilarious, rapid-fire pace, WINTER SHORTS will remind you that gut-busting laughs can come in surprisingly small packages.
