Sculptor Warren Arnold, his wife Maile and six other homeowners, will open their gardens to the public when two of the greatest art forms are showcased in a special event Sunday, May 23, 2010 to raise funds for the Sebastopol Center for the Arts. Gardens with Sculpture a first ever tour of seven unique gardens, each featuring a variety of outdoor sculpture.
Garden designer Maile Arnold has had her gardens featured in Sunset Magazine; has been featured on a number of national television shows on gardening; and her garden has been toured by Garden Conservancy, and The Strybing Arboretum. Sculptor Warren Arnold is known for his Whale Project - seven totemic sculptures marking the safe passage of the Gray Whale which are installed along the northern California coast line; and as the founder of Sculpture Jam a program which annually creates public art for the City of Sebastopol.
Do not miss this chance to visit private gardens, admire diverse plantings, and see a wide range of sculpture integrated into a living palette.
