Sidâs concerts are like a whoâswho of music greats that includes The Beatles, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix!Sid Bernstein made history in 1964 when he brought The Beatles to Shea Stadium and TheRolling Stones to Carnegie Hall, along with a pantheon of British Invasion acts such as The Kinks (All Day And All Of The Night), The Dave Clark Five (Glad All Over), The Moody Blues (Go Now!), Herman's Hermits (Mrs. Brown), as well as American artists like Jimi Hendrix (Purple Haze), Janis Joplin (Piece Of My Heart), and The Young Rascals (GoodLovin). As a first class music promoter, Sid Bernstein was at the top of his game in the wild and wooly 1960s. Sid Bernstein saw it all and tells it like it is.
