Homenaje a Los Panchos

Villa Victoria Center for the Arts announces the premiere of Homenaje a Los Panchos, a musical celebration of a true Latin American musical icon, Trio Los Panchos. This production will feature three established trios on Friday June 11, 2010, from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm Trio Los Panchos is undoubtedly the most important Bolero group of all times. Their career spanned over four decades, selling millions of records and touring the world, as well as appearing in over 50 movies and collaborating with some of the greatest Latin music stars. Three outstanding trios from the New England region come together to pay tribute to this Latin American musical institution with ageless songs from the Golden Age of Bolero music, considered by many to be the most romantic music in the world Efran Salgados Trio Alma Latina, Grupo Yagua and Trio Los Bohemios will perform melodies immortalized by Los Panchos, as well as some of their own compositions and arrangements, for an evening of luscious Bolero music.
