Since our first bout in May of 2008, the league's membership has more than doubled in size. Through the hard work ofleague members, HRD is now a member of the international organization the Women's Flat Track Derby Association(WFTDA) that governs the fast growing sport of Roller Derby, has achieved 501c4 nonprofit status and has a thriving youth program.
HRD plays for sold out crowds of over 700 people and turn many away at the door. Our long term goals are to continue growing this awesome league for young girls and women in Humboldt County, continue to bring an exciting family friendly events to Humboldt, own a facility that can accommodate more fans, and continue to give support to other community non profits.
