FoCo Mix it up Home Bout
Yes, it's for real. Roller derby is a legitimate sport played by real bad ass women athletes. The hits are real, the falls are real, and the bruises are definitely real. Each bout, or game, incorporates complex and ever-changing strategy. But Fort Collins derby girls also enjoy putting on a good show for their fans. True to derby tradition, each FoCo girl adopts a skater name and persona to match.
FoCo Girls Gone Derby, Northern Colorado's first roller derby league, has been dishing out hip checks since January 2006.
FoCo's two hometown teams, the Death Row Dolls and Chanel Cartel, spar regularly at Rollerland Skate Center. However this event will be an exciting time between the Death Row Dolls and the Chanel Cartel. They will be experiencing a time of confusion because the girls will not know which team they are on until the night of the Bout. Come see how the Chanel Cartel members and the Death Row Doll members lay the smack down on some of their own team members.
