PLOP! Nights presents TOYSLAM!

TOYSLAM! is a mini-festival of short, experimental works of Toy Theatre* by artists of all kinds from the Pacific Northwest and beyond! The two evenings will showcase short works of Toy Theatre for adults, which play with and broaden the definition of puppetry as "most people" know it. It may be small, but this is art, alive and kicking!

*Toy Theatre is a miniature form of puppetry, typically performed inside a small box stage, often using flat cutout character images on rods, and with the manipulators in full view of the audience. Toy Theater lends itself well to "campy" humor, political spoofs, and playful takes on short stories or poems.

In addition to break-through and imaginative puppetry, the night offers the possibility of hilarity, sadness, bizarreness, beauty, reverence, irreverence and everything in between! Come enjoy the variety, innovation and charm of TOYSLAM!
