Band in Seattle live television taping with Ghost Pains and Thunders of Wrath

Come participate in the first night of taping of the television/web program "Band in Seattle" with Ghost Pains and Thunders of Wrath - Friday, January 16th, sponsored by Naked City Brewing and American Music. Each band will perform a 45 minute concert and participate in an interview program, "Sound Proof". Doors open at 6PM at Victory Studios, 2247 15th Avenue West between Queen Anne and Magnolia in Seattle. The show starts at 7PM and ends at approximately 10PM. Admission will include two free beers provided by sponsor Naked City Brewing and soft drinks and snacks.

Ghost Pains:
Ghost Pains formed in April of 2013 and are a Rock band featuring former Slender Means & current Black Whales keyboardist, Dave E. Martin. Their influences can be traced to bands like, Hot Snakes, The Night Marchers, The Replacements, The Stooges, Cursive, The Smiths, The Constant Lovers...etc.

Thunders of Wrath:
Thunders of Wrath is an American rock band. Described as "old school rules with a new-fangled yet reverent rock swagger". Others have said "refreshingly classic". To put it simply, we make rock music, it's who we are, it's what we love and it's what we do.

School chums Mason Flippin and Cooper Farris form the rhythm core, meeting in junior high and growing up together as musicians. Guitarist Joe Papen joins in January 2012, new rock grooves are formed, and Tom Vekakis auditions for vocals in August 2012. Jake Fouts joins on keyboards July of 2014.

Ages 21-24, all born and raised in the Tacoma/Puyallup area, currently recording original music and playing shows to audiences along the west coast.

We strive for a sound that is timeless, yet always in the moment... all-killer, no-filler, rock grooves that don't need to be described with a special subcategory, hash-tag, or era.
