Space.City and Northwest Film Forum Present Sofia and Mauricio Pezo Von Ellrichshausen
Space.City in association with the Northwest Film Forum present Mauricio Pezo and Sofia von Ellrichshausen. They are the principals in Pezo von Ellrichshausen, an architecture firm from Concepcion, Chile. They were awarded the Best Work Of Young Architects prize at the V Ibero American Biennial (Montevideo, 2006), the Architectural Quality Prize at the XV Chilean Architecture Biennial (Santiago, 2006) and the Commended Prize at the AR Awards For Emerging Architecture (London, 2005).
Their work has been included in publications such as HATCH: The New Architectural Generation (London, 2009), Key Contemporary Buildings (London, 2008) and Architecture Now Volume 5 (Koln, 2007) and has been shown in exhibitions such as Freshlatino (Hamburg, 2009), Building Dwelling Thinking (Valencia, 2008) and Visions Of Latin American Architecture (New York, 2007).
They have lectured across Europe, North America and South America, and were recently featured on ArchDaily.com.
