Mister Greggy's Silly Circus Show
Internationally known children's entertainer Mister Greggy will be presenting his Silly Circus Show April 10 at 3pm, then every second Saturday of each month. Filled with magic, clowning, puppetry and some "serious fun", the audience is invited to stick around afterwards and learn how to make balloon animals, perform a magic trick, or even how to juggle. During the live show, you'll get to meet Rocky Raccoon, Mister Greggy's furry puppet pal. Rocky loves to try circus tricks, or as Greg calls them, "fearless feats featuring super sensational circus skills". Jonny Rej, owner of the Plaza theatre, says "Greg was a big hit during out 70th anniversary celebration". Children from the audience will be asked to help Mister Greggy with some of his tricks, because, as Greg confides, "I usually can't figure them out by myself". Mister Greggy's live show will be followed by "The Secret of Nimh", the 1982 animated feature film from Bluth Studio and United Artists. Based on the award winning children's book "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of N.I.M.N." written by Robert O'Brien in 1971, this popular children's movie follows the adventures of a brave field mouse struggling to save her family and home from a farmer's plow. The cast of vocal talents include John Carradine, Dom DeLuise, Will Wheaton and Shannen Doherty.
