HALLELUJAH CHORUS
This is a spin-off from African Globe's hit plays Amen Corner and Gospel at Colonus. Audiences return to the storefront church in Harlem. Set against the modern day challeges facing the church today,infidelity,child abuse and the diminishing of members of faith. A church must come to terms with its fallible and all-too-human devout congregation when it has to decide whether to hold the church together, despite the myriad crisis, or sell the building to pay off bills. As the church faces both the rekindled love of its members for the music of the church, and the Banks knocking at the door to foreclose the building, the Reverend must rally the congregation to face and overcome their greatest challege since it was founded in the 20's.
