The Joy of Cheese Presents All About Chevre part one
Dairy farmers both here and abroad have been making firm goat's milk cheeses on a regular basis for more than a decade, so its time to survey them and sample some of the best. These cheeses reveal the full breadth of flavor available from goat's milk cheeses. Some of them are herbal in their follow through, others are floral, and yet others still are fruity. Join us April 6 at 7 at d.b.a Brooklyn, 113 North 7th St., (between Berry and Wythe, one and a half blocks west of the Bedford Avenue L stop) for the first of three tastings in April celebrating the diversity of goat's milk cheese. I'll present seven cheeses and Ray Deter will present seven beers specifically chosen from the incredible d.b.a selection to match them. Tickets are $25 and the event runs till about 8:15/8:30.
