ONLINE SALES HAVE ENED BUT THERE ARE STILL TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR! NYC in the Rear View Mirror: T.M.I.dol Story Slam
ONLINE SALES HAVE ENED BUT THERE ARE STILL TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR! So many of us in the mid-Hudson Valley are transplants from NYC, and we all have great stories about our lives there. But for one reason or another, we put the city behind us.

For this special T.M.I.dol story slamalso a book party for "Never Can Say Goodbye: Writers on Their Unshakable Love for NY," TMI Project editorial director Sari Botton's follow-up essay anthology to last year's "Goodbye to All That: Writers on
Loving & Leaving NY,"we invited some of the area's best storytellers to share with us, in five minutes or less, stories reflecting their views of NYC in the rear view mirrorfor better and worse.

You'll hear from: Maria Philippis, Sam Osterhout, Ben Obler, Katy Weber, Brian Macaluso, Holly George Warren, Sara Eckel, Rachel Bailey, Michael Koegel and Nina Shengold.

It's a contest. The audience chooses the winner  who will receive a gift certificate for dinner at Elephant Tapas and Wine Bar. The Golden Notebook will be on hand with both of Botton's essay collections, plus books by contestants including Holly George Warren, Ben Obler and Nina Shengold.

T.M.I.dol is TMI Project's popular story slam series (think TMI meets American Idol), in which readers compete by telling short, true stories from their own experiences, on a particular theme. Readers are given guidelines for creating a story, but unlike with the monologues produced for our stage shows, we do not do any work on these, nor even see the stories beforehand.
