The Ume Group's Dream Dances

The physical theatre ensemble hailed by New York critics for its "commanding, physically impressive performances" (The Village Voice) and "risky physical vulnerability" (nytheatre.com) is proud to present the World Premiere of their latest original work, Dream Dances.

Born from the ensemble's shared experiences with dream-journaling, yoga nidra, and butoh dance, DREAM DANCES is a collection of rituals, movements, scenes, and monologues based on the actual dreams of the show's creators. Presented in a beautiful & historic church on Manhattan's Upper West Side, DREAM DANCES marks The Ume Group's newest adventure into the strange & surrealistic depths of our subconscious mind.
