"Going...Going...Gone": The Live Auction Comedy

Ed, owner of Ed's Auction House, is dead.

Now those that knew and/or loved him have to auction off his personal stash of stuff in this interactive hit.

The audience gets play money, the actors don't know what's in the boxes they'll have to sell, and the theater space becomes fully alive with one-of-a-kind, never-the-same-twice fun.

After launching at the 2012 Indy Fringe festival, it settled into an open-ended run, with additional performance at various other locations.

How "Going...Going...Gone" works:

When entering the theatre, you are given play money useful for bidding on the objects.

Not everyone starts with the same amount of money. Yep: Just like in the real world. Deal with it.

Don't be shy. You are a part of the show.

Don't be obnoxious. You're not the whole show.

Even if you don't really want something, consider bidding anyway to force the people who do want it to bid higher. (It's fun to be annoying.)

If you are the winning bidder, you will take your item home and tell all your friends you got it at "Going...Going...Gone."

Come out to a fun-filled night that will benefit the restoration and reopening of the historic Gateway Playhouse in Somers Point, New Jersey.
